AquaFit Babies is a postnatal exercise class designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment for caregivers and babies to exercise and socially connect. This course is new to the Unities States and is taught by a dual certified Recreation and Aquatic Therapist.
 
Weekly educational topics are discussed to increase the health and safety of the caregiver/baby team. Exercise adaptations are offered for postnatal moms, while exercises are also safe for prenatal moms. AquaFit Babies is open to parents, relatives or other caregivers who wish to participate in the session with their sweet baby.

Older siblings may enjoy the benefits of the S3 Montessori Aquatics Program. Conveniently offered during the AquaFit Babies sessions, children will learn about swim safety and skills, using Montessori methodology. Click here for more information about the S3 Montessori Program.

Ages: 3-young 5 with caregiver

S3 Montessori based aquatics programming servicing Early El students at Level 1-4 American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program. Program will touch upon the 3 pillars of programming: Safety, Swim skills and Social bonding.

Ages: K - 1st Grade

S3 Montessori based aquatics programming servicing Lower El students at Level 1-4 American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program. Program will touch upon the 3 pillars of programming: Safety, Swim skills and Social bonding.

Ages: 2nd and 3rd grade

S3 Montessori based aquatics programming servicing Upper El students at Levels 1-4 American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program.  Program will touch upon the 3 pillars of programming: Safety, Swim skills and Social bonding.

Age: 4th - 6th grade

This program is for Academy students and FCMA parents who have not had swim lessons before.  Chances are if you are a 7th grader and up newbie swimmer, you may have some fear to overcome.  Classes are intimate highlighting student’s strengths and focusing on positive modeling.

Age: 7th grade and up

This is a development swim club for children who are Level 4 and up in American Red Cross Learn to Swim program. Students must be able to swim front crawl without stopping for 25 meters (1 length of pool) and tread water for 1 min.

Ages: 4th grade and up

This is a goal focused adaptive swim lesson class instructed by Recreation therapists. Serving students/parents with special needs or fear and require a therapeutic focus. Each participant will receive an individualized swim lesson care plan with goals. Goals can be incorporated in IEP. Program will touch upon the 3 pillars of programming with S3 Montessori Methodology: Safety, Swim skills and Social Bonding.
